What WhichPeps currently stores, what remains in your browser, and how contact information is handled.
WhichPeps has no public user-account system and does not require an account to use the evidence library. Visitors can optionally request the free WhichPeps Evidence Map and opt in to occasional Evidence Updates by email. The signup is handled by Kit.
Search, tools and browsing
Search, comparison and calculator interactions are designed to run in the browser. WhichPeps does not require an account to use the public evidence library.
Saved Research
Saved Research is not enabled in the public launch build. WhichPeps does not create a cloud reading list or user profile. If a browser-storage or account feature is introduced later, this notice and the relevant consent/security controls will be updated before that collection begins.
Hosting and security logs
Like normal web hosting, the hosting/security infrastructure may process technical request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp and security/error events for delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. WhichPeps should not describe these logs as marketing analytics.
Contact and corrections
WhichPeps publishes hello@whichpeps.com for corrections and general contact. If you email us, your email address, message and any information you choose to include will be processed for the purpose of reading and responding to that enquiry. Do not send personal medical information. Email is used only to read and respond to the enquiry unless a legal or security need requires otherwise.
Evidence Map and Evidence Updates
If you enter your email address in a WhichPeps Evidence Map form, the address is submitted to Kit, our email-service provider. Kit sends the confirmation email, records the subscription status, delivers the Evidence Map after confirmation and is used to send occasional WhichPeps Evidence Updates.
Subscription is optional and uses confirmation before the address becomes an active subscriber. Every Evidence Update email includes an unsubscribe route. WhichPeps does not use this list for supplier promotions. You can also contact hello@whichpeps.com about access, correction or deletion of information associated with the list.
The Kit form is loaded from Kit's service and may process technical information needed to display the form and record subscription events. Kit describes how it processes creators' subscriber data and international transfers in its privacy and data-processing documentation. Read Kit's privacy information ↗.
Analytics
WhichPeps does not currently use a separate third-party behavioural advertising analytics script. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced later, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before that collection begins.
